Wong Mew Choo... Chooo Cweet!

Nothing is Impossible! In Tianhe Gymnasium, Guangzhou, China today behind the partisan Chinese crowd backed by the Great Wall of China, the Numero Uno lady singles player of our nation defeated Xie Xingfang of China to win herself the first Super Series Crown. Congrats to you Mew Choo. You made us proud!

Mew Choo beats Xingfang who is also the world number one seeded player in dramatic rubber set games of 21-16, 8-21 and 21-17. It is also worth to mention here that Mew Choo defeated 4 top seeded Chinese players in this tournament all the way to Final. Yesterday, she stunned my favorite player Zhang Ning the 2004 Olympic Champion in the Semis to book a place in the finals today.

Ciao!

Batu Putih..... so close Yet so Far.........and Away?

Singapore's Photo

Our Photo

Read the full details on Jeff's site. Like this also can happen ah? Is this how we fight a case in International Court of Justice . You can see the difference of both photo's background hill part of the pictures. The Malaysian photo have a slightly high visibility of the Mount Berbukit compared to Singapore. (Well not slightly high is it? Extra high maa..) Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Professor S. Jayakumar and Singapore’s Attorney-General Chao Hick Tin managed to pecah tembelang of Malaysia in their in final arguments of the case. By the way I'm also wondering as Rocky, what is our Deputy Prime Minister doing here in the midst all this thing? Flabbergasted?? Me too!

Funniest part is that, our country being so opposed and against all those blogger, then how on earth use a picture from a blog with no proper identification and better still only created a month ago to present a case in International Court of Justice. Lol! Further claims that the picture was from a independent source! Maybe chili sauce la..

This is Malaysia Bolehland, today I'm here blogging and who knows tomorrow I may be in Nowhere land too!

ciao..

Deepavali Valthukal!

yes! Happy Deepavali to all Indian's. So many myths and legacy about this festival which is also known as the festival of lights. People of Ayodhya welcome back Sri Rama from exile after 14 years in forest by lighting up lamps (deepa = lights ,wali = path) marks the festival for the last six days in the month of Aswayuja (amantha) or no moon month according to the Hindu calendar.

This festival is also remembered as the day when the great Rama wins over demonic Ravana or Lord Krishna's famous victory over Narakasura. King Mahabali 's obedience towards Vishnu to rule the nether-world before the era of Rama also closely associated with this festival. This refers to Onam better I suppose.

Anyhow back to the real thing, Deepavali for me symbolically represents the victory of good over evil and the upliftment of our inner or spiritual darkness. As the story Ramayana tells, people of Ayodhaya celebrates the homecoming of Rama (goodwill and faith) by lighting up lamps after a long absence (Ramayana's exile in forest for 14 years) .

So to all my fellow Indians, Deepavali is not just about new clothes, food, gold or ornaments, and new business only but Deepavali is also about the awakening of our spirit and being illuminated by divine grace. On this Deepavali day, my wish to all of you... Light up the Jyoti of your soul!

Ciao!

This is wild!!!!!!!

(From a forwarded email)

If your brain works normally this is neat.

This is another example of an amazing illusion!!! The last sentence is so
true. If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, the dots
will remain only one color, pink.

However if you stare at the black " +" in the center, the moving dot turns
to green. Now, concentrate on the black " + " in the centare of the picture.
After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will
only see only a single green dot rotating. It's amazing how our brain
works. There really is no green dot , and the pink ones really don't
disappear. This should be proof enough, we don't always see what we think
we see.
